A romance with a female American sheriff leads to numerous tough considerations based on her Muslim background, her family’s expectations and general prejudices.

Once a year, more than 60.000 people from around the world gather in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert to create Black Rock City, a temporary metropolis dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance. In the documentary we follow the Danish pencil drawer Kasper Købke. He travels to the festival to capture the crazy, transitory dream city in the desert in his line drawings with their distinctive wealth of detail. The unique thing about the Burning Man festival is that everything that happens is created by the participants themselves. The film is about dreams, about abanoning control and about being present in the now. The director views the festival as a journey through art and culture to something different, free and redemptive.
